SPAGHETTI WITH CHERRY TOMATOES, CAPERS AND OLIVES

 Ingredients for 4 people

• 400 gr of spaghetti

• 200 grams of cherry tomatoes

• 1 tablespoon of salted capers

• 20 black olives •

 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

• a pinch of dry oregano (optional)

• 1 clove of garlic

METHOD

Start by putting water to boil for pasta. Meanwhile, wash and cut the tomatoes into small pieces, rinse the capers to remove the salt, pour the extra virgin olive oil into a large pan and heat it. As soon as the oil is hot, add the garlic and the tomatoes. After a few minutes add the capers and olives and cook for 5 minutes on low heat, covering with the lid. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti and when they are al dente pour into the pan to be hot. If the preparation turns out to be dry add some pasta water. Finally, add a pinch of  dry oregano.
